Installation Overview
The device does not interfere with any car receivers or installations and has low power consumption, typically 11-12 mA, which is less than a standard car alarm.
Car Installation
To ensure optimal and reliable operation, attach the electrodes (bars at cable ends) to the car body using non-conductive methods such as nylon cable ties or non-conductive plastic screws (highly recommended). Scratch a 2-3 cm long and 2 mm wide area down to bare metal under the electrode. Alternatively, a stainless steel or brass screw may be used. Ensure the electrode is on a flat surface and covers the scratch. Do not clean the entire surface under the electrode; it must allow rainwater to pass over it. Use coarse sandpaper to prepare the surface. Regularly check the electrodes for severe corrosion and replace them as needed. Aluminum-magnesium, zinc-magnesium, zinc, or aluminum-zinc bars typically hold the cables. Secure the junction between the cable and electrode well. Replacement electrodes can be purchased from us and come with wires ready for easy replacement.
Install the electrodes where they contact the electrolyte (rainwater), such as the front engine compartment's water-trough of the fender and the trunk's water-trough at the back. Before installation, sand the electrode thoroughly and drill a hole for mounting, whose size and position depend on the installation site.
Installation of Two Devices
To minimize cable routing, consider installing one device at the front and another at the back of the car.
Motorbike Installation
Installation mainly involves securing electrodes at distant conductive parts of the bike, like the front fork and rear rocker. Use nylon cables or Velcro straps for easy removal and reattachment. Connect directly to the bike's battery. For long periods of non-use, keep the battery on a charger.
Wiring Guide
Connect the red wire (power) to the battery’s positive terminal, and the green and yellow wires (ground) to the negative terminal.
Important!
The device should run continuously. It must be connected directly to a constant 12V power supply, not through the ignition. Install the control box inside the car, similar to a car alarm. One LED will light up permanently, while a second will pulse when the device is working.
Vehicle Requirements
Small cars up to 5 years old, like a Toyota IQ, or similar quads and trike bikes: at least 1 device.
Small cars over 5 years old, all repaired or slightly corroded vehicles, medium and larger cars, vans: at least 2 devices.
SUVs: 2 devices for the chassis and 1 or 2 for the frame (optional).
Motorcycles: 1 device.
